	Will Sarah Palin release her medical records? In a joint interview with McCain, she told Brian Williams that she will release her medical records, but now may be flip flopping. "The medical records, so be it. If that will allow some curiosity seekers perhaps to have one more thing that they either check the box off that they can find something to criticize or to rest them assured over. I'm healthy, happy, I've had five kids, that's going to be in the medical records. Never seriously ill or hurt, you'll see that in the medical records if they're released."

	"her retarded baby" is a bit harsh, his disability has nothing to do with his being mixed up in his mom's family secret, and props to cjr for acknowledging it, it's forgivable. anyway the issue at hand is that the remaining 3 (mccain, obama, biden) have released their health records, at least to some extent, and it's a traditional thing to do for national security reasons, as well as others (i believe in the past 30 years or so, all 4 candidates running have done so). plus, it's just smart politics. anyway, she will likely not release them is my guess. BUT if the baby is actually hers, releasing them would almost certainly give her a bounce, so she should. Either the baby isn't hers, or she has some other condition like depression or plastic surgery that will hurt the campaign, or she will release them. One of those 3 will happen and the odds are against the first two being wrong, again, just speculating. [QUOTE]

	yes, mental retardation is a proper broad diagnosis that describes many conditions including down's syndrome, fragile x syndrome, and severe enough effects of fetal alcohol syndrome. it should not be used as an insult. [QUOTE]
