The superbowl will feature a new "Superbowl Shuffle" commercial

During the first quarter of the Feb. 7 game, an updated version of the classic "Super Bowl Shuffle" will light up TVs in bars and living rooms across the country in the form of a cell phone commercial. The spot for Sprint Boost Mobilewill feature former starting quarterback Jim McMahon, backup quarterback Steve Fuller, defensive end Richard Dent, wide receiver Willie Gault, punter Maury Buford and linebackers Otis Wilson and Mike Singletary. Unlike the wacky 1985 original, the 30-second remake will also include former Bears coach Mike Ditka, "mixing" the rap behind a soundboard.

Pepsi Pulls Out Of Super Bowl, Decides To Spend Money Online

Pepsi had been a major advertiser during the Super Bowl. According to TNS, the company spent $142.8 million on the 10 Super Bowl ads from 1999 to 2008, second only to Anheuser-Busch, which spent $216 million. The brewer of Bud Light confirmed Thursday it will have 5 minutes worth of advertising in the 2010 Super Bowl.

GoDaddy's famously risque Super Bowl ads always pull lots of eyeballs, but the company's latest spots may have resulted in a little too much attention of the wrong kind. Entrepreneur Brian Harrell, who manages hosting services for dozens of Christian churches and faith-based organizations and uses GoDaddy to host over 160 domains, says he's pulled several of his clients off of GoDaddy's servers after receiving numerous complaints about the company's racy ads that aired during Sunday's game.

Jennifer Hudson used a backing track for her dramatic version of “The Star Spangled Banner” Sunday at the Super Bowl, the pre-game show’s producer says. Ricky Minor, the producer, told the Associated Press after the performance that he insisted that Hudson use the vocal track she submitted to the NFL a week before the game instead of singing live.
