Bypassing the studio system, O'Donnell has formed a new business venture with two former Warner Bros. syndication executives and is planning to self-syndicate a new talk show as early as fall 2011, according to The Wrap, which cites sources familiar with her plans.
Rosie O'Donnell, who walked away from a *huge* TV audience over a dispute about her magazine (I think) is rumored to be in negotiations for her return to TV. From the article: "What I'm told is that Ben Silverman and Jeff Zucker like the idea -- and it's a great one that Rosie's had for a long time. The new show could turn out to be a 2009 version of Carol Burnett or even "The Ed Sullivan Show.'"
