On June 15 the movie was screened at a plush hotel for the pleasure of dozens of legislators from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). But there was a problem. The movie is not officially available on DVD as it is still running in theaters. The BJP overcame this small problem by watching a pirate copy.

Aside from our seating, Iron Man 2 was FANTASTIC. Definitely on par with the first one. Better, if you’re like The Keeper and strongly disliked casting for Rhodey in the last movie. Everything was spectacular. The special effects, the writing, the acting, the cinematography. It was all just fucking good. I was particularly fond of the casting, so lets go through character by character.

In the real market, contracts on the Cantor exchange will trade at $1 for every $1 million a movie is expected to bring in — a figure determined by traders — at the domestic box office during its first few weeks in theaters. So if “Robin Hood” is expected to bring in $100 million in its opening weeks, a single contract could be bought for $100 by a trader who thinks Russell Crowe’s role in the movie will drive sales far above expectations. If that trader guesses right, and the movie sells $150 million in tickets, the trader makes $50.

This was supposed to be the year the Oscars dumbed themselves down, to appeal to the masses. There were 10 nominees for best picture, specifically so that crowd-pleasing films such as The Blind Side, Up, and District 9 could make the cut. Neil Patrick Harris wasn't the host, but he still randomly opened the show, with an over-the-top (and strangely unmemorable) song and glittery tuxedo.
