Two men attempt to remove bolt on gas tank with blow torch

and suffer "minor burns" (in case that affects your vote). Oh yeah, they were mechanics at a repair shop. "Two men were taken to hospital to be treated for minor burns on Friday night. Lisbon Automotive Services is located at Stirling Avenue and Mill Street. Regional Police tell 570 News two men were trying to remove a rusty bolt on a gas tank with a cutting torch when fuel underneath the vehicle ignited. A bucket of fuel nearby was also set on fire."

Obama called for the opening up of the strategic oil reserves, calling today's gas prices a "genuine emergency." He cites the nearly 20% drop in gas prices when Bill Clinton did the same in 2000. From the article: "Obama emphasized on Monday that using reserves is a temporary fix and that drilling is not "a particularly meaningful short-term or long-term solution." McCain has said that drilling would have a "psychological" benefit for consumers; his proposal to suspend the 18-cent-a-gallon federal gas tax was ignored by lawmakers on Capitol Hill and criticized by economists, who said it would not lead to a noticeable change in prices. "

National gas prices dip below $4 a gallon

"CAMARILLO, Calif. - A national survey shows gas prices have dropped a fraction below the $4-dollar mark. The average price of regular gasoline at self-serve stations was $3.996 a gallon Friday.
