During the incident, several uniformed officers can be seen standing behind the student, identified by his attorney as University of Pittsburgh student Kyle Kramer, while he is made to kneel as a photo is taken. A video capturing the scene has circulated on the Internet. Chicago police began an investigation after finding out about the video about two weeks ago, department officials said.

Undercover drug investigators play Wii during raid,caught on tape

As investigators searched the home for drugs, some drug task force members found other ways to occupy their time. Within 20 minutes of entering Difalco's house, some of the investigators found a Wii video bowling game and began bowling frame after frame. While some detectives hauled out evidence such as flat screen televisions and shotguns, others threw strikes, gutter balls and worked on picking up spares.

Hackbart, 34, was looking for a parking space on busy Murray Avenue in the Squirrel Hill neighborhood on April 10, 2006. Spotting one, he attempted to back into it, but the driver of the car behind him refused to back up and give him sufficient room. Hackbart responded in the classic way. "I stuck my hand out the window and gave him the finger to say 'Hey, jerk, thanks,' " says Hackbart. "That's all I was trying to say — 'Thanks, thanks a lot.' "

Homeless Man Tasered, Catches on Fire

A police report in Lancaster, about 30 miles southeast of Columbus, says one officer had seen the man inhaling a chemical from an aerosol can Monday night. That officer and another then struggled with the suspect, and the Taser was used. A flame appeared on the man's chest, and officers patted it down.

A Boston police officer who sent a mass e-mail — in which he referred to Harvard professor Henry Louis Gates Jr. as a "banana-eating jungle monkey" — has apologized, saying he's not a racist. Officer Justin Barrett told a local television station on Wednesday night that he was sorry for the e-mail.

U.S. startup car company Carbon Motors to make this cop car

Carbon Motors says that the E7 is “designed for law enforcement by law enforcement” to underscore what is lacking in the atypical police cruiser, which is a lot. Powered by its rear wheels, the E7 will utilize a 3.0L forced induction V-6 diesel engine which will be paired to a six-speed automatic transmission. The engine is expected to produce 300 horsepower and 420 lb.-ft of torque, traveling from zero to sixty in 6.5 seconds, topping out at 155 mph. Clearly, a number of cars on the road will be able to out run the E7, but then again who hasn’t been able to lose a Crown Vic, Impala and Charger?
